Day5 Sunday
We headed south to the aquarium. What takes the average family 2.5hrs to complete took is 5hours. We learned about the US army using one of the islands, Kaho'olawe as live ammo target practice for pilot training. While it trained our troops to fight in many wars dating back to ww2, we didn't bother return to clean it up until the 1990s. Even now, only 75% of the bomb debris has been removed. Many live rounds are still scattered throughout the island and shoreline. It is every parents' responsibility to teach their children to clean up when they are done playing. Shame on the parents of all the politicians and leaders who have left this mess
We saw tons of coral, colorful fish, turtles, rays, sharks, and an awesome 360degree whale experience in their dome.
On the way home we stopped by a local market under the monkeypod trees and got some goodies. A long awesome day of exploration.
