Biochemical Structural Similarities

Initial comparison of two bio-active chemical structural groups: phenylethylamines and tryptamines. Together these compounds are classified as monoamines. They have been selected in part because of the writings of A. Shulgin as well as the similarities of their backbones with those of two important bioactive chemicals, serotonin and dopamine.
